Third generation

This winery is the story of a family with deep roots in the area of Verona. Dating back to 1925 when Amadio Fasoli began planting vines and selling wine to local taverns, it is now going strong under the leadership of the third generation.

Biodynamic - Organic & Vegan

This is wine with principles. Amadio and Natalino Fasoli started organic viticulture in the 1980s due to a shared belief that the land deserves respect. Their refusal to use chemical products demonstrates a profound commitment to protect not only their terroir, but the health of the people who live and work on it.

Valpolicella - The valley of many cellars

The red wines of this Italian region might just become your new favorites: dry, epic Amarone; the spicy cherry charms of Valpolicella Ripasso; and lively, accessible Valpolicella.

The land

The Fasoli vineyards are situated in the lower Illasi valley in northeastern Italy, an area where the terrain and its particular microclimate assist in good viticulture. The soil is a mix of clay, stones, and sand and the wide, sunny valley is protected by the Lessini Hills. 

Alteo - Amarone

Amarone is globally recognised as the Verona region’s wine of excellence.

Alteo

Since the 1990s, Alteo has been the Fasoli’s flagship wine. Its elegance and power lie in the subtle balance between robust structure and fine softness. But how? The grapes are left in small wooden crates for 5 - 6 months, and then pressed. Fermentation is carried out in steel vats for 25 - 35 days, after which the wine is transferred to oak barrels where it is left to mature for at least 3 years. Process makes perfect.
