Cantina Antonioli - Natural wines from Umbria
Crafting wines with soul
A Story Rooted in the Land
Cantina Antonioli is a boutique winery dedicated to crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines in the heart of Umbria, Italy. With deep respect for the land, the Antonioli family follows sustainable farming practices to produce wines that embody the essence of their region.
A Unique Terroir
Located in the rolling hills of Umbria, Cantina Antonioli benefits from a diverse landscape that combines clay-limestone soils with a moderate Mediterranean climate. The region’s diurnal temperature shifts—warm days and cool nights—allow for slow ripening, enhancing the aromatic complexity and balance of the wines.

Indigenous Grapes & Traditional Winemaking
Antonioli is deeply committed to preserving local viticultural heritage. The winery focuses on native grape varieties such as Sagrantino, Sangiovese, and Grechetto - each carefully cultivated to showcase its natural character. Winemaking is minimal-intervention, with spontaneous fermentations and extended aging to allow each wine to express its true identity.
From vineyard to cellar, Cantina Antonioli follows a philosophy of minimal intervention. Organic vineyard practices, hand-harvesting, and wild yeast fermentations ensure that the wines remain a pure reflection of the soil and climate. Many of their wines see long macerations and aging in neutral vessels, allowing for depth, texture, and a refined structure without overpowering oak influence.
Minimal Intervention,
Maximum Expression

Il Male Minore
A pure expression of Umbria’s terroir, crafted mainly from Sangiovese. Vibrant red berries, earthy spices, and herbal notes define its character, with bright acidity and refined tannins. Fermented with native yeasts and minimal intervention, it embodies Cantina Antonioli’s dedication to authentic, terroir-driven winemaking.
