The magic of friendship

Poggio Mandorlo winery was born thanks to many years of friendship. Four friends, Roberto, Felice, Giuseppe, and Fabio, all sharing the same passion for a territory, the Maremma, who love and respect, they decided in 2001 to realize their dream of producing the most representative expressions of Sangiovese & the Tuscan’s soil

The dedication with which they treated the vines and the unique terroir on which they grow, give to the wines of Poggio Mandorlo characteristics of elegance and finesse, but at the same time structure and intensity. This young Tuscan company is rapidly conquering the consent of all the international press, thanks to the minimal intervention approach of Filippo Paoletti, naturalist guru.

" My approach with oenology has always been characterized by humility, meant as putting myself on the wine’s service, not to mould it, but to help it expressing; I think this philosophy is the only one suitable for Poggio Mandorlo’s reality. In front of a so big potentiality you cannot but put yourself aside, working not to give your style to the wines, but to exalt the real nature of this place. Producing great wines in Poggio Mandorlo not only is possible, but simply natural. "
Filippo Paoletti
